Ling Chang is too focused on the arrow in Lei leg to watch Jun Chen fight. “Does it hurt Lei?” She says as she starts tugging in the arrow and even without words his face tells everything. “I am sorry, but we have to get it out or you might die by the blood loose” Lei closes his eyes and replied dry “Yes I know” He opens his eyes again and points as a wooden stick not far from them. “Give me that and be ready with some bandages” Lei says like it was the most simple thing in the world. Ling Chang thinks for a moment as even she was the one with the idea about taking the arrow out, she is now have second thoughts. “Ling Chang, please, you have to… I know you are having second thoughts about me now but please I do not want to meet my wife just yet” Lei says and Ling Chang looks at him and nods. She jumps up and runs to the wooden stick just as Jun Chen attacks Gang Chen, who is too quick on the now wet wooden floor, but luckily Gang Chen does not manage to prepare his own attack before Jun Chen is ready again. Ling Chang reaches the wooden stick but as she is about to walk back against Lei, a man is blocking her way by pointing a sword directly at her. “Do you remember me?” The man says cold but the dark sky makes it impossible for Ling Chang to see the man’s face, making her just reply even colder “No, and let me pass” The man starts laughing “I am sorry but I know you” and a lightning light revealed who he was. Ling Chang pretended she did not remember him and tried to force her way to Lei who was still laying on the ground waiting for the wood so they could start getting the arrow out but the sword came closer to skin. The man continued “My name does not matter but I was the one who lost the brother to your old fool and since he is laying death down there I want to fight you” the man said and Ling Chang knew that she was not getting past the man no matter what she did except for fighting him so she threw the wood to Lei and turned her focus 100% at the man and replied “Are you man enough to fight a girl or do you just kill me like a boy” The man face turned angry but he quickly calm before he pulled forward another sword and handed it over to Ling Chang who had not chance to refuse. Ling Chang grabbed it quickly and just in time, she took two steps back as in the next the man attacked with the other sword. “You are no man” Ling Chang yelled but the man just laughed and lunch another attack. This time Ling Chang blocked the attack and the sound of more swords sing, made a few men turn around and started cheering around them too.
“What is happening inside, that makes it take so long” Jun Chen said while keeping his eyes on the gate. Hui Wen change his focus form the gate to Jun Chen and smiled while replying “You was the one, telling her to go inside and now you are worried about her? I am sure the training we have given her is far enough to survive even in there” “You really think so?” Jun Chen replied quickly while still not moving his eyes away form the gate. “Yes, plus she is the daughter of Xiao Chang… one of your father’s most trusted soldiers so I know even that we are not there to protect her, she will do just fine…” Ling Chang thought for a moment as even he knew that Hui Wen was right something else troubled him “What about her rage?” He asked but instead of an answer he felt Hui Wen pulling him away from his view point and just as he turned around to watch were he were getting pull to, he hit his hard on a girder, blacking out instantly. Hui Wen jumped and managed to stop him from hitting the rocks too before bidding both of the inside a smoke filled house. At first he was silence but soon a group of soldier walked right pass them. Hui Wen looked out the house and followed them as they continued to walked past the gate to the palace, making him dump down on the wood. “Thank you lord, I could not handle helping them both in one time” and then he crawled over to Jun Chen.”Wake up, Wake up” he tried but he was getting no response except for a calm breathing telling him that Jun Chen was alive.
The swords flew thought the air like they sometimes did under training but this fight was something different and Ling Chang knew that. The woman stood laughing not far form the fight, which instantly gave Ling Chang an idea even she was busy focusing on Jun Chen. They danced around in the death grass and Ling Chang had to block more than she were used to as she had decided to keep her rage at a minimum as she wanted to be there if she had to kill Jun Chen. “Is that really the best you got?” Jun Chen yelled and even his voice was different form the normal version of him and Ling Chang just looked at him without replying. Instead she attacked him and managed to give him a small cut on the left leg but no scream was heard instead Jun Chen kicked her away like she were nothing and she flew thought the air hitting the tree next to the women.Continue reading
He started walking and the sun when behind a cloud, making it all a bit dark leaving him to focus even harder on the road and people around him. He finished his meal to keep his thoughts on Ling Chang instead and just as he finished the sun peaked forward again and everything became a lot easier. He stopped to think once more where Ling Chang could have gone but his mind was suddenly asking for water so he looked around and by pure look a small stand was selling juices. He turned against it and walked before suddenly without any warning all went dark and stars started to appear.Continue reading
A child came running against her but before he could say anything Hui Wen and the mason opened the door. “This is my friend Lei who is a great mason and he will make anything you ask. I will leave you two as I need to go to the blacksmith to get a sword made for Jun Chen too” Hui Wen said with a joyful voice and soon Lei and Ling Chang were all alone in the mason. Ling Chang looked at him and he was a bit thin compared to the mason they had a home but sure he would be a great mason when Hui Wen was friends with him. She took of the medallion and handed it to Lei who quickly took and watched every detail on it. “This are my family medallion and I would like a sculpture that looks like the dragon on the medallion” She said while a small tear ran down her check and Lei looked up for a moment before returning to the medallion. “That should be possible, and sorry for your loss, Hui Wen told me about the death of your parents but I am sure we will get the bad ones, beaten soon enough” Lie said with a calm and easy voice and handed the medallion back to Ling Chang who quickly took it on again. “Guess you better stay here until Hui Wen returns form the blacksmith or I might get in trouble for losing you” Lie said still calm and easy. Ling Chang nodded and started to look around, which made Lie quickly continue “You can go and look around in the mason if you like, I also have a nice garden in case you want to see that” and then he picked a white stone between the stones on the floor and started to look at it figuring out how to make the dragon. Soon there were a lot of hammering coming from the mason but Ling Chang was already far away in dreamland from all watching all the sculptures.
